Hacktavists and Civic Innovators
In 2014, "The Interview" surprised me by changing the landscape of civic innovation recruiting. I expected the movie to disappoint allusions to "The Great Dictator", "Dr. Strangelove", and "South Park Uncut" so I didn't make time to see it. But news networks made it hard to hide from the story surrounding its release. Though I have yet to see the movie, I know it for politicizing the hack of Sony Pictures.

Something's happening in the Federal Government that is like a tech startup closing a growth round. Entrepreneurs and innovators who overcame the odds are securing a chance to grow innovation in the Federal government. Their effort results this month in the finalization of the Technology Transformation Service.
Meeting the 2016 Fellows
Have you ever thought about the Avengers's feelings while assembling? It's the first time that these uniquely talented people meet each other. As they listen to each other's back stories, they realize they've been on variations of the same mission. And then it dawns on them that their missions can combine to forward a purpose bigger than any of them alone.
